Long Stories Cut Short: Fictions from the Borderlands

Short stories written by Ohio State University’s professor Frederick Luis Aldama; Long Stories Cut Short is a book that aims to portray the latino experience in relation to the american experience.

The book features 30 illustrations for different short stories, made as a counterpoint to the written story, creating new storylines that bind the whole book together. I worked with Fernando de Peña as a writer for the illustration, in a way to deepen the content present in the artwork.
